Randy, Rod and I decided to head up to the high country for a Dual Sport day trip from Denver. All three of us reflected on how fortunate we are to live in a place of such beauty. Life is good.
I decided to take a trip down to southwest Colorado to see if I could catch the end of the season there. As luck would have it, I caught the fall colors in their prime.
A 1,600 mile ride from Denver to the White Rim Road in Canyonlands National Park. Rod, Rand and I rode this ball-breaker 100-mile loop through the heart of the Islands in the Sky district in 1 day on June 7, 2019.
These people chose to live in spectacular settings of monolithic sandstone walls and mystifying blue skies.
