Gokarting

Did some go-karting today. For Christmas Rick’s wife Sarah got him 5 gift cards to Unser Karting in Denver. He generously offered to take me along with his brothers Randy and Rod and our friend Jason. We’d been talking about it for a while and finally found a time when we could all make it. It was a blast! Of course I was either 4th or 5th place in all 3 races, but at least I improved my time each race. And it was my first time ever racing go-karts, so I wasn’t too disappointed. The carts are gas powered and purportedly have a top speed of 40 mph. It may not look like in the video, but we were moving pretty fast.
